Well, today was the first day we have been out showing the Ventisquero Queulat Gran Reserva wines and they are showing beautifully. I really like them….and by the way, Queulat is the name of a beautiful glacier in the Andes that gives birth to the Ventisquero River….cool huh? The whole line up of wines has wonderful [...] I’ve had several friends and customers who asked me today, “did you read the Times Dining & Wine section today?”…No. It is actually something my wife reminds me to do every Wednesday, since she is the one who usually checks out the NY Times online and tells me. I had a long and productive day with [...] So many people shy away from the city on days when the forecasters announce heavy snow, that I love to come in and go see customers, be productive and enjoy the picturesque views. I have not had the tome to post since Wednesday (the day of the big snow storm)…so… For one, there was no traffic and [...] Even though we sell wine throughout NY, we actually live in NJ. I am stating this because we usually dine out in the city, but once in a while we do frequent a few really good BYOB restaurants near us in Bergen County, NJ. Most restaurants in our area are actually BYOB, because of the very [...] Rad Grapes started our partnership with Del Rio Vineyards just over a year ago and we are already making a splash. We have done very well with the Del Rio and Rock Point wines, since their introduction in NY, so well in fact that we are getting television coverage for our hard efforts. My good friend [...] Back home, relaxing and getting ready to watch the Jets vs. the Jaguars. It is a home game, but I am not there tailgating….that is rare. Beyond the fact that it was a busy week business wise, we had a family wedding this weekend. Since the girls were in the wedding party, we drove up to [...] Bob Shack has been a dear friend, advisor, confidant for some time and has recently been supplying Rad Grapes with some great wines. Bob has more wine business experience than either he or I would care to mention. He has used his knowledge and vast wine industry contacts to source some incredible wines through his import [...] The Rad Grapes portfolio and our wines are relatively unknown to most wine drinkers, but when are consumers are able to taste our wines, they are very impressed and tend to buy the wines.
