I am trying to keep everyone posted regarding when and where I will be pouring any Rad Grapes wines. These tastings are part of the need for people to taste our wines to believe how good they are and to promote them, since for the most part they are not well known labels yet.The tastings are [...] If you a wine drinker or just a plain old wine geek and happen to live along either side of the Hudson River – pay attention! [...] All of that hyper-ventilating for nothing…here’s a report from WKTV from Utica, New York. Again, just like last year, I though there was no-way-in-hell that this thing was going to pass…and it did not. New York store owners need to get back to running their businesses and stop worrying about the possibility of changes in NY [...] At least that’s what it feels like lately….I have not had the time to post. Really. Business has picked up at Rad Grapes and I’ve been on the road seeing customers and popping corks all the time, hosting in-store wine tastings to help my retail customers promote our wines, working with Jonah, one of our new [...] Governor Paterson has proposed to change NY State Liquor laws in a relatively drastic fashion, including allowing wine sales in grocery stores, letting current wine shops sell many other items, allowing multiple ownership of retail stores and also extending the credit window for retail customers from 30 to 60 days. I certainly disagree with a few [...] If you are interested in tasting some of the wines from the Rad Grapes portfolio, I will be pouring some Eliseo Silva wines at Astor wines today from 6-8pm.
