Talk about a bitch….2009 has been a very difficult year to say the least. As we approach the end of the year, I cannot help myself to think that most of us are happy that the year and the first decade of the 21st century is ending. I for one am glad that we are turning [...] I am sitting at home in my basement office, watching some TV, sitting on the computer browsing and sipping on some “Seriously Sticky Syrah”…yes, the wine – another gem from Del Rio Vineyards – a late harvest, 19% natural alcohol, very Port like, late-harvest Rogue River Valley Syrah….sublime! I am very much looking forward to tomorrow. Family, [...] Being a business owner, you tend to have a very good feel for what’s going on out there; the economy, the consumer, spending habits and patterns,trends, consumer sentiment, retail spending, etc. It is like actually being a really good old fashioned retail analyst.
